We are looking for a freelance Databricks Data Engineer to support a major transformation programme for an international client. You will work in a modern Azure Databricks environment, helping deliver scalable data engineering solutions in a fast-paced enterprise setting.

This is a strong opportunity for a consultant who enjoys hands-on delivery and technically challenging programmes.

What you will do

• Develop and deploy pipelines in Azure Databricks
• Transform raw data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets
• Improve performance and maintainability of existing workflows
• Support migration from legacy data environments
• Work closely with architects and functional stakeholders

What we are looking for

• Strong Databricks delivery experience
• Excellent PySpark, Python, and SQL skills
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, and Delta Lake
• Ability to work independently and deliver quickly
• Consulting mindset and strong communication skills
