Freelance Databricks Data Engineer

An exciting opportunity to support a client moving from fragmented reporting and legacy data architecture to a modern Azure Databricks lakehouse environment. You will play a key role in building the pipelines and data foundations that will support future analytics and AI use cases.

What you will do

• Design and develop pipelines in Azure Databricks
• Support migration from legacy BI and data warehouse environments
• Improve data quality, consistency, and performance
• Work with technical and functional stakeholders across the programme
• Help establish a scalable data platform for future growth

What we are looking for

• Proven experience with Databricks
• Strong Python, SQL, and Spark background
• Good understanding of Azure services such as ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Entra ID
• Experience on cloud migration or modernisation projects
• Fluent French and English preferred
