A premium opportunity for a Principal Databricks Platform Engineer to join a business building a next-generation cloud data platform. You will take a lead role in designing and scaling a Databricks environment that supports mission-critical analytics and AI use cases at enterprise level.

• What you will do
• Define and enhance the core Databricks platform architecture
• Drive engineering standards around performance, scalability, and security
• Support deployment automation and environment optimisation
• Partner with senior engineers, architects, and platform owners
• Act as a technical reference point for the wider data engineering function
• What we are looking for
• Extensive experience with Databricks platform engineering
• Strong knowledge of Spark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake
• Experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
• Strong background in enterprise-scale cloud data platforms
• Ability to lead technically while remaining delivery-focused
