We are seeking an experienced Databricks Data Architect for a strategic transformation programme. This is a high-impact role where you will define the target architecture for a modern lakehouse platform built on AWS, shape engineering standards, and guide implementation.

What you will do

• Define end-to-end Databricks on AWS platform architecture
• Set standards around governance, scalability, security, and performance
• Guide engineering teams on best practice
• Support cloud and data migration strategy
• Partner with senior stakeholders on roadmap and architecture decisions

What we are looking for

• Extensive Databricks architecture experience
• Deep knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, and cloud ecosystems
• Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, IAM, Glue, and orchestration tools
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead from both a strategic and delivery perspective
